Welcome!
Welcome to my new blog! This is where you will be able to find various information about Disney destinations, from little-known trivia to planning tips for your exciting vacations!
Since it's the holiday season, I thought it would be fitting to start with the holidays at Disney. Disney specializes in over-the-top Christmastime celebrations, and the crowds that flock to the parks and the Cruise Line every year prove that no one does Christmas quite like Disney!
Since it's the holiday season, I thought it would be fitting to start with the holidays at Disney. Disney specializes in over-the-top Christmastime celebrations, and the crowds that flock to the parks and the Cruise Line every year prove that no one does Christmas quite like Disney!
The biggest holiday tip (and really anytime tip) for Disney is to plan ahead! The time between Christmas and New Year's is the busiest time at all Disney parks, so it is essential to book your trip well in advance. Prime hotel rooms fill quickly, and with dining reservations available up to 180 days in advance (as well as the ever-growing popularity of the Disney Dining Plan), it is important to get started early.
In addition, there are many holiday festivities during this time. Walt Disney World and Disneyland both host special Christmas parties after park hours. These specially ticketed events include exclusive parades and fireworks, dance parties, hot chocolate, rare character meetings, and even snow on Main Street! Plus, there are always fun things to see at the various resorts, including an enormous gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!
There are also exclusive unique holiday events on the Disney Cruise Line, at Aulani Resort and Spa in Hawai'i, and on Adventures by Disney vacations!
If you're thinking of visiting Disney during the holidays of 2013, start planning ahead now!
As always, have a magical day!
